This stunning photograph from the Berlengas Archipelago in 2018 captures the rugged beauty of the Portuguese coast. The scene is dominated by a narrow inlet with strikingly clear, deep turquoise and emerald water that flows between steep, reddish-brown granite rock formations. In the center, a tall, dramatic pinnacle of rock stands prominently in the cove. Further out, a lone figure on a stand-up paddleboard is visible, offering a sense of scale and adventure against the misty, expansive ocean horizon. The rich textures and colors of the cliffs contrast beautifully with the vibrant water below.
