This photograph captures the iconic, dramatic beauty of Alvor Beach in 2023, characterized by its striking cliff formations. The view looks down into a secluded cove, framed by the towering, ochre-colored sandstone cliffs. These rugged walls plunge to a patch of soft, golden sand, which is accessed through a natural rock archway visible in the middle ground. The intense orange tones of the cliffs contrast beautifully with the bright, clear blue sky and the deep turquoise water of the Atlantic Ocean in the distance.
